The Food Code requires every food establishment to employ at least one full-time, on-site Person in Charge certified in food safety, and the certificate is valid for five years. The Person in Charge is also the person who manages the establishment’s permits and records on the platform, so in practice the establishment side is sequenced around them: who they are, when their certificate lands, and what they will be asked to manage. GGB is not the Person in Charge and does not certify anyone; the certificate is earned by your person from the bodies the Municipality recognises.
